I finished reading “Crush It! Why now is the time to cash in on your passion”, by Gary Vaynerchuk the other day and thought I would share my feelings on the book. First off, I really enjoyed reading this book. Gary’s enthusiasm comes across in his writing and it made for a very energetic read. In his book, Gary lays out how to “Crush It” in social media and become a successful, profitable internet brand. Now do I think that if you follow Gary’s advice in the book that you will become a internet superstar? Probably not. However, I do think that his advice and general views on life and work are definitely worth checking out. I for one am a firm believer (and participator) in loving your work and what you do. It did get me to start this Tumblr blog and open a Facebook account. Only time will tell if that’s a good thing…
If you are familiar with Gary’s work on Winelibrary TV and enjoy his enthusiasm, (or even if you don’t) pick up this book. It is fun, has great ideas on social media, and is a very quick read.
